Unable to add IP’s on WHM or after doing “network restart” all add-on ip’s are disappeared

While adding the ip on WHM Home »IP Functions »Add a New IP Address the error shows like this.

67.xx.xx.xxx is already an active IP.
Skipping 67.xx.xx.xxx .. already added
The system has 2 free IPs.

Try to resart ipaliases

# /etc/rc.d/init.d/ipaliases restart

Also check

# chkconfig –list ipaliases

Make sure 2, 3, 4, 5 are on. Those must be on or your ip’s will not work on boot.

Also check /etc/ips to see if they are listed. Check /etc/ipaddrpool to see what’s free for an account to use.
